Path Ahead Summer Bridge (PASB) program at the University of Louisville School of Nursing introduces students from Central, Shawnee, Iroquois, and Doss High Schools to various careers in healthcare. The PASB is designed to enhance academic and career readiness skills, helping students transition successfully to postsecondary education in the healthcare field. 

The program's goal is to address workforce shortages, support underserved students, and create a strong pathway for future healthcare professionals through career exploration, educational support, and mentoring. In the 8-week PASB program, students will explore careers such as nursing and allied health professions to promote an increased understanding of healthcare careers, and the skills and confidence needed to pursue postsecondary education in these fields.
