The University of Louisville School of Nursing unveiled the Student Collaboration Center in fall 2022, providing a vibrant area for nursing students. This 3,485-square-foot space is designed to foster student success by promoting engagement, idea sharing, and collective development. The center offers a variety of individual and group environments to support different learning styles and needs, including open collaboration areas, private study rooms, and a kitchen & dining area. These diverse spaces allow students to meet, study, and develop together.

This Student Collaboration Center was made possible through the generous support of Kindred Hospitals and the Kindred Foundation. Ben Breier, CEO of Kindred Healthcare LLC, emphasized the importance of this investment to benefit the next generation of nurse leaders. During the unveiling ceremony, Breier stated that the Kindred Foundation's goal is to encourage and support the development of well-trained caregivers who will positively impact the health and well-being of the entire community.

The Student Collaboration Center underscores the School of Nursing's commitment to providing modern and impactful resources for its nursing students, preparing them for successful careers in the evolving healthcare field.

On behalf of the Kindred Foundation...we are proud to support the development and training of the next generation of nurse leaders through our investment in UofL's School of Nursing. Our hope is that we can support well-trained caregivers and positively impact the health and well-being of our entire community.
