Institutional Accreditation
The University of Louisville is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, bachelor, master, specialist, doctoral, and first-professional degrees (D.M.D., J.D., M.D.). The University of Louisville also may offer credentials such as certificates at approved degree levels.

Program Accreditation
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
The bachelor of science in nursing, master of science in nursing, doctor of nursing practice, and post-graduate certificate nursing programs at University of Louisville are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001; Phone: 202-887-6791 (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The above programs were reaccredited by CCNE in 2021, with regular reporting for ten years. Our next accreditation review by CCNE will take place in 2031.
Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA)
The Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
The Nurse Anesthesia Program's next review by the COA is scheduled for Fall 2028.
Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH)
The Clinical Simulation Center at the University of Louisville School of Nursing is accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare in the areas of Teaching/Education until December 31, 2029.
