School of Nursing poster awarded by American Burn Association
September 12, 2025Earlier this month, School of Nursing Associate Professor Carlee Lehna, Carol Hanchette, associate professor in the Department of Geography and Geosciences, and Stephen Furmanek, an MPH student in the School of Public Health and Information Sciences, won second place overall for their poster "Using a Cartographic Risk Model to Inform a Fire Prevention Intervention for Families with Newborns" at the American Burn Association Annual Meeting in Las Vegas.
The poster also received first place in its category.
