First students graduate from MSN to DNP program

In December 2018, Leann Baker and Elisabeth Volpert were the first students to graduate from the School of Nursing's MSN to DNP program. 

Volpert is a nurse practitioner at UofL Physicians-Internal Medicine. Her DNP project was titled, Assessment and Documentation of Electronic Cigarettes Use in the Primary Care Setting.

Baker is a nurse practitioner at UofL Physicians-Neonatology. Her DNP project was titled, Interprofessional Collaborative Practice in the Perinatal Healthcare to Improve Teamwork and Communication Using a Huddle Strategy.
