This series was developed by the UofL School of Nursing team: Christina Pennington, Simulation Director; Dr. Diane Riff, RN-BSN Online Program Director; Dr. Heather Mitchell, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs; and Joel Schmidt, Grant Program Manager. It comprises eleven open-source, video-based simulation scenarios accompanied by facilitator and learner materials.

This work was made possible through funding from HRSA’s NEPQR-IPCP LPN-BSN Pathway grant. The simulations integrate social determinants of health into teaching and assessment, promote equity-minded clinical judgment and communication, and support learners in engaging with the communities where they live and work.
