Social Determinates of Health Simulation Library
Sidebar
This series was developed by the UofL School of Nursing team: Simulation Director Christina Pennington; RN-BSN Online Program Director Dr. Diane Riff; Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs Dr. Heather Mitchell; and Joel Schmidt, Grant Program Manager. It comprises eleven open-source, video-based simulation scenarios with facilitator and learner materials.
The work was made possible with funds from HRSA’s NEPQR-IPCP LPN-BSN Pathway grant. The simulations integrate the social determinants of health into teaching and assessment, strengthen equity-minded clinical judgment and communication, and help learners engage with the communities where they live and work.
