The 2025-26 School of Nursing Alumni Council President, Courtney Albers, shares the following update about the alumni council:

The University of Louisville School of Nursing Alumni Council continues to strengthen connections among alumni, support current students, and celebrate our vibrant nursing community. This fall, we are especially excited about several upcoming opportunities to engage with the School of Nursing and the University of Louisville.

Homecoming Week will take place October 20-25, 2025, featuring a variety of events to celebrate Cardinal pride. One highlight is Raise Some L, happening Tuesday, October 21 to Wednesday, October 22. For 1,798 minutes, the Cardinal community will come together to support our alma mater through philanthropic gifts that enrich the student experience and expand our impact in the community. Be on the lookout for a link to donate and join us in making a difference.

We are also proud to celebrate this year’s School of Nursing Alumni Fellow, Cynthia Logsdon ’98, for her outstanding contributions and leadership.

Looking ahead, the Alumni Council will host a football tailgate before the UofL vs. Clemson game on Friday, November 14 at 5:00 p.m. in Bronze Lots 39 & 40. We hope you’ll join us for food, fun, and camaraderie before cheering on the Cards!

As always, if you are interested in getting involved, whether through event planning, supporting student initiatives, or engaging with fellow alumni, please reach out. Together, we’ll continue to strengthen and celebrate our nursing alumni community.
