The University of Louisville School of Nursing Alumni Council continues to strengthen connections among alumni, support current students, and celebrate our vibrant nursing community. This spring, we are excited to offer several opportunities to engage with the School of Nursing, including our annual Trivia Night, Women's Basketball Outing and Preceptor Appreciation events in both Owensboro and Louisville, as well as upcoming Alumni Council meetings. 

Our annual Alumni Trivia Night will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 6-9 p.m. at Saints Pizza Pub & SkyBar (131 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY 40207). Check-in begins at 6 p.m., with a pizza and pasta bar served at 6:30 p.m., and trivia beginning at 7 p.m. 

The School of Nursing Preceptor Appreciation Night in Owensboro will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Big Whiskey’s (234 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301). Tip-off is at 6 p.m. CST, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. 

The Women's Basketball Outing and Preceptor Appreciation in Louisville will be on Sunday, March 1, 2026. The event will include a pregame pizza social from 2-3:30 p.m. at Bearno’s Pizza (301 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY 40202), followed by the University of Louisville vs. Notre Dame women’s basketball game at 4 p.m. at KFC Yum! Center (1 Arena Plaza
Louisville, KY 40202).

The Alumni Council’s next meeting will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. Please join us to learn more about Council initiatives, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. 

Together, we’ll continue to strengthen and celebrate our nursing alumni community.
