An update from Alumni Council President, Fall 2026
September 17, 2026
As President of the University of Louisville School of Nursing Alumni Council, I am honored to reflect on the wonderful year we shared in 2025. From our inaugural Raise Some L event and successful gatherings such as Trivia Night, preceptor appreciation events, and our football tailgate, to supporting students through opportunities like the International Service-Learning Program (ISLP) and providing speakers for Convocation, it was a year filled with meaningful connections, celebration, and support for our School of Nursing. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and enthusiasm to making 2025 such a success!
As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 academic year, I am excited to build on that momentum and create even more opportunities to connect and engage. This fall, we are looking forward to our School of Nursing Alumni Council Tailgate for the UofL vs. Florida State game. Later in the fall, we will also gather for a Mahjong Night. No Mahjong experience is necessary, just come ready to learn, play, and enjoy the evening with fellow nurses, students, faculty, and alumni.
With so many exciting opportunities ahead, I hope you will join us this fall as we continue to strengthen the connections that make the School of Nursing so special. Whether you are a current student, faculty member, or alum, there is a place for you in our Alumni Council activities. I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event and continuing this work together!
