The $5,000 scholarship is sponsored by Linda Burnes-Bolton, NBNA Past President and a trustee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which contributes to the scholarship. The scholarship is named in honor of Burnes-Bolton's mother.

Chatman will be honored during the association's Awards and Scholarship Ceremony on July 27 during the 47th-annual NBNA Institute and Conference in New Orleans.
