The Kentucky Racing Health Services Center has been chosen as a finalist for Louisville Business First's Health Care Heroes awards. The clinic, which is run by the University of Louisville School of Nursing, was nominated in the community outreach category.

The nonprofit clinic serves the backside workers of Kentucky's thoroughbred racing industry. Most of the clinic's patients are low-income, migrant workers from Latin America.
