A Fresh Look and Feel: UofL School of Nursing Unveils Updated Spaces
September 29, 2025
The University of Louisville School of Nursing is undergoing a vibrant transformation, one that reflects our commitment to compassion, innovation, and excellence not only in education, but in the environment we create for our students, faculty and staff.
This semester, visitors will notice a series of thoughtful renovations designed to support well-being, connection, and confidence across our community.
Room 4029 on the fourth floor is now a Wellness Room, a peaceful oasis equipped with a hammock chair, yoga gear, resistance bands, and a zen garden. Whether in need of a 15-minute reset or a power half-hour workout, this space invites you to unplug, recharge, and return to your day feeling centered and strong.
Also new to the building is the Cardinal Confidence Room, a bold, branded space featuring flexible seating, adjustable desks, a large touch-screen TV, and a whiteboard, perfect for collaboration, study sessions, or hosting guests. It’s a space designed to energize and empower.
On the third floor, two newly refreshed rooms offer quiet comfort and privacy: the Prayer Room (3065) and Lactation Room (3066). These spaces are open to faculty, staff and students, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and care.
And don’t miss the updated third-floor lobby, now being remodeled into a modern, welcoming entryway to the School of Nursing office suite. It’s the first impression we want to make: vibrant, professional and inviting.
These updates are more than cosmetic, they’re intentional investments in the people who make UofL Nursing extraordinary. We invite our students, alumni and friends to stop by and see the transformation for themselves.
